All portraits are created in pastel and are sold unframed. They are an artistic rendering in a modern impressionistic style.

Portrait

Basic Head Portrait or Full Body with a soft background painted in an impressionistic style can be created from your favorite pet photo. The head is best rendered in a 3/4 portrait or from a full frontal face photograph. Full body renderings are welcome and they are a great way to capture the spirit of your pet.

Reference

Now for which photo to choose, from so many cute pictures. Be sure to choose a photo with clarity and good lighting that reveals both shadow and the light-side. Make sure the photo resembles your pet, watch for distortion of the nose with close-up photos.

Pricing

Pricing is $3/sq. in. plus $55-$125 set-up fee for a basic portrait from a photo with a soft background. Some detailed scenes or backgrounds are extra and a second pet is approximately $5/sq. inch depending on the reference.
