The Artist

To bring about a change in the light and energy of a space, that is the joy and challenge of this colorful medium pastel. Kristine has been on an artistic journey since childhood. Inspired by the beautiful artwork at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, she enrolled earning a BFA in Illustration from USF. Her work has been featured in magazines, advertisements, theaters, corporate identity packages and a variety of artistic endeavors. One of her stand out paintings was for Ed King, the guitarist and inspiration for the song “Sweet Home Alabama”. She painted this on a spontaneous visit to Tennessee. Currently, she lives in Central Oregon and is inspired by the high desert mountains.
