The Artist
Kris has been playing with pastels since her very first set of Alphacolor chalks in the 4th grade. Inspired by the beautiful artwork at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, she enrolled earning a BFA in Illustration. Since then she has worked in a variety of artistic endeavors from digital art, photography, set painter, portraiture and more before making her way back to pastel painting in 2020. Now she spends her time with the most colorful soft pastels painting light, sunsets, landscapes and beloved pets.
